LOL, I saw this on one of my friends' Xangas...
When a random guy/girl on the elevator asks you if he/she can have a hug, you would most likely respond by...
A. Laughing in his/her face.
B. Hesitantly offering him/her a shug.
C. Punching him/her in the face
D. Pretending you are deaf.
E. Being more than welcome to hug him/her, and then, inviting him/her out to dinner.
F. Explaining to him that hugs are only offered for eighth floor and up riders.
I think I'd choose either B or D,... most likely D, LOL.
I would hesitantly offer him/her a hug. It's usually a gesture I reserve for people I really am close to, but if if it would really make soomeone feel good, then cool. Also, I don't know how the person would respond if I did not give the hug; I figure it's safer to do so.
i would probably give them a hug, but ide feel really wierd afterword.
I'd eh move away, then ask why they were badly in need of a hug, and if they gave me an unsatifactory answer I'd stop the lift and walk even down 3 flights of stairs because I'm fly paper for such eejits
E, or some such flippant and silly reply first, because it breaks the ice. I'd still give them a hug though. I'd also try and judge if they were a creep/attention-seeking/actually just in need of some contact, before deciding whether or not to follow it up, ask them to have a coffee and a chat etc. But a hug doesn't cost me anything.
Ummm I go up to random people alll the time and ask if they want a hug.... Lmao
Um well, if people sound nice, I would hug them. But if it was a person who would smell bad and would not seem nice to me, then I would never do it.
And, if this is the second case, I would do D, just pretending I was deaf.
I might even try out some of the bizarre suggestions mentioned in a very funny joke, posted here not so long ago...
Hi there. I would definitely choose b. You all take care, JoaquĆn
